Ingredients You’ll Need

- paprika
- garlic powder
- ground coriander
- salt and pepper

How to Make Roasted Chickpea Snack
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
- Using paper towels, drain, rinse, and thoroughly dry the chickpeas.
- In a small bowl, combine the cumin, paprika, garlic powder, powdered coriander, salt, and pepper. Place aside.
- Bake the chickpeas for approximately 15 minutes on the prepared baking sheet.
- Remove the chickpeas from the oven and sprinkle with the olive oil. Stir well to coat the chickpeas gently, adding extra oil as needed.
- Stir in the spices until the chickpeas are uniformly covered.
- Return the pan to the oven and bake for another 10 minutes. Remove and thoroughly stir.
- Bake the chickpeas for 5-10 minutes more, or until they attain the desired crispiness. This will take around 35-40 minutes to bake.
- Turn off the heat and slightly open the oven door. Allow the chickpeas to cool and crisp up in the oven.
Tips and Tricks
- Use paper towels to completely dry the drained and washed chickpeas. The chickpeas will not be crispy and crisp if they are not completely dry.
