How to Make Fideo

  • In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, heat the oil, then add the fideo and cook until the noodles are covered in oil and begin to brown.
  • Bring the tomato sauce and broth to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and continue to cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the noodles are tender.

  • To make the soup more filling, add shredded chicken and vegetables like peas and carrots.
  • Leftover soup should be refrigerated in an airtight container for 3-4 days. It may also be put in a freezer-safe container and frozen for 3-4 months. When the soup is defrosted, the texture of the noodles will alter, but the flavor should not be compromised.

Is Fideo And Vermicelli The Same?
