Ingredients 

  • 2 cups of dragon fruit 1 medium dragon fruit or 2 frozen pitaya packs*
  • 1/2cupalmond milk** unsweetened
  • 1large whole banana*** frozen

Toppings – Optional

  • granola and seedssuch as chia seeds
  • Kiwi, banana, blueberries, and strawberries are examples of fresh fruits.

Instructions 

  • If using fresh dragon fruit, cut it into little cubes and put it in the freezer overnight. (You may use frozen pitaya packets directly if you have them.)
  • Gather all of the ingredients and cut the frozen banana into bits.
  • Pour almond milk into the blender first.
  • Add frozen banana and dragon fruit.
  • Secure the cover and begin blending on moderate speed, gradually increasing to high. Blend for 30 to 60 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth and uniformly distributed. (Add additional almond milk if the smoothie is too thick; if it is too thin, add more fruits.)
  • Pour into glasses or bowls and top with desired toppings.
  • Serve immediately.
